My academic research investigated how distinct types of motivation influence individuals’ attitudes and behavior, with a particular focus on how these motives work together — sometimes harmoniously, sometimes competitively — in the process of goal pursuit. This work forms the methodological and theoretical foundation for my current consumer research at Netflix, where I apply similar questions about motivation to understanding global entertainment behaviors and subscription decisions.
